BTA Training: Variety and Personalisation

In our daily work with players we like to add as much variety to their trainings, tournament schedules as well as our methods and tools of coaching, always looking to mix things up and create well-balanced programmes for each and every one of them.

First of all, our daily programme concentrates on various aspects of tennis technique and movement, match play as well as fitness trainings, which take place on the court, our outdoor and indoor gyms and the Castelldefels beach, located a 5-minute walk from our academy.

Every week the players have personalised mental trainings, both individual and group sessions, as well as mental training on the court.

Our full-time programme consists of 4 hours of tennis and 1 hour of physical conditioning split into two training sessions. The morning session is followed by a lunch break, during which players can unwind, do school work or take language courses. Our afternoon sessions mostly include match play or sparrings.

In addition, our players can choose a part-time training including only the morning session with 2 hours of tennis and 1 hour of fitness. It is a great option for younger players or those who need to be at school in the afternoons.

Finally, we also offer different schooling possibilities. We cooperate with an international school British College of Gava, which allows for a traditional schooling option with a timetable adjusted to our training schedule as well as an online American programme with the on-site assistance of a tutor.
